How did you get started in the web hosting field?
I had run into some financial trouble and took a chance when I joined InMotion Hosting’s team to further my career.
InMotion Hosting helped me get back onto my feet and provided me with a community of problem solvers, and a skillset I did not have before.
What is your current role at InMotion Hosting? What do you like most about it?
Advanced Product Support.
The thing I like most about my current position is the role I have in helping our tier 1 agents. I can provide helpful advice, tools, and assistance with resolving an issue. Helping people is what I like most about my current position.
In your opinion, what does it take to take to make the customer happy?
Listening to the customer is one of the best things to do. I have learned that customer satisfaction is best achieved just by listening and getting the issue resolved as quickly as possible. If everything is showing green and there is no lasting issue, the customer is the happiest they can be.
What’s one tool that you think is most helpful for our customers?
Our support system. Sometimes customers need help, we are just one push of a button away and because we have around-the-clock service this allows a customer to get help just after breakfast, just after lunch, or even that four in the morning cram session.
We are happy to help. And, because most of our customers are entrepreneurs, we get to help set customers on their lives and help with projects that have to do with all walks of life.
What’s your favorite thing about InMotion Hosting?
The community and fellow team members to assist me. Sometimes I do not have the answers to every question, so getting some additional assistance is always helpful. We have sub-communities for special interests that also just provide a wealth of knowledge that any one of us can share.
